Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Trail suitable for children?
We do not recommend children under the age of 10 walk the Trail and strongly recommend young children do not attend. This is a very creepy, scary event and there are jump scares and some rather graphic costumes on the trail. Parents need to take an active role in determining whether or not their children should go through the Field Of Screams. You know best what they can handle.
All children who do enter MUST be accompanied by an adult.
How much is an admission ticket to the Field of Screams?
We are asking for donations – there is no set price
Are Pets allowed at the Field of Screams?
No, pets are not allowed even if they're trained zombie hunters.
Will the actors grab me inside the attractions?
No, the actors are not allowed to touch you. You are also not allowed to touch, hit, or grab the actors.
All children who enter must adhere to a strict NO CONTACT rule with our performers. The creatures along the trail will not touch any of the people going through and we ask that you return this courtesy to them.
What happens during unfavourable weather?
The Field Of Screams is an outdoor event, unfavourable weather conditions such as rain, high winds or thunderstorms can cause unsafe conditions for both you our guests and the creatures of the Trail. In event of bad weather an announcement will be posted on our website and our Facebook by 5pm of that night. We may move the event to the Monday 31st if possible.
Are costumes & masks allowed?
No masks are allowed! Any guest that enters the Field Of Screams wearing a mask or a costume that limits their movement or includes weapons etc. will be asked to remove these items. If they are unable to comply with that request they will not be allowed to enter.
All people walking the trail need both hands free and a clear line of vision.
What should I wear?
The Trail is an outdoor event that takes place during the month of October. We recommend clothing that you will be comfortable in for a few hours outside. You will be walking in the woods - comfortable footwear is highly recommended (NOT: high heels, flip flops, open toe shoes, etc.).
I have condition X, Y or Z should I come to the Trail?
You should not enter the Field Of Screams if you suffer from any physical or mental ailments such as asthma, heart condition, vertigo, seizures, respiratory condition, or any type of intense phobia.
The Trail is an outdoor event that uses special effects, theatrical smoke, strobing lights, loud music/sound effects, unsteady/uneven ground, etc. If you believe that any of these will cause you physical or mental harm please do not come to the Trail.
